LEARN THE IMPORTANCE OF PROPERLY FUELING YOUR BODY
“The food you eat can be either the safest and most powerful form of medicine or the slowest form of poison.”
What you put into your body will have a direct affect on your results. Which is why we are so passionate about teaching the importance of nutrition.
Good nutrition is an important part of leading a healthy lifestyle. Combined with physical activity, your diet can help you to reach and maintain a healthy weight, reduce your risk of chronic diseases (like heart disease and cancer), and promote your overall health.
Abs are made in the kitchen. Say what? Yes, if you want to maintain low body fat, and see your hard work in the mirror. You will need to pay attention to how you are fueling your body. We are here to teach you how to eat to reach your goals.
It is very importance to understand that “losing weight” is not the same as losing body fat.
Five pounds of lean muscle is much smaller than five pounds of body fat. Yes, it weighs the same but it will look and feel extremely different on the body. We can not gage your results solely by the number on the scale. Body measurements, body fat testing, and your body weight all play an important role. You may want to lose 10 pounds, but the scale might stay the same or only lose 2-4 pounds. This does not mean that you’re not losing body fat. You could have gained 5 pounds of muscle, and lost 9 pounds of body fat. Thus only losing 4 pounds of body weight. But the real results are in your body measurements. Since lean muscle takes up significantly less space on the body, you may have lost 6-10 inches.
